Our Client, Lion Country Safari is looking for a temporary Full-Time Cash Control Associate who has a positive attitude, outgoing personality, great attention to detail, and an interest in working at Palm Beach County’s #1 attraction!

JOB FUNCTION:

Audit daily sales receipts, create sales reports, and prepare deposits daily. Assist at the Ticket Booths or Front Desk when needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Sales Report Audit: Check, balance and prepare Daily Sales Reports timely
• Count and record all daily sales, including but not limited to the sale of resident passes, car rentals, animals, amusement, KOA, food, and beverage vending.
• Bundle bills, count contents of safe, change out bank bags for all cash registers in the park, and maintain cash on hand to meet change requirements of the park daily, anticipating periods of high demand.
• Create deposit slips to give to courier.
• Supports ticket booth or front desk when needed.
• Maintain security for all receipts, locking office when away from it, and locking safes at night.
• Keep petty cash, securing approval and receipts for all pay outs, recording disbursements monthly and submitting to A/P for reimbursement.
• Maintain control of keys.
• Audit tax exempt receipts daily and compare to the SOP
• Prepare monthly tax-exempt package to the Chief Financial Officer.
• Prepare weekly report of deposits in transit for the Weekly Cash Position report.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Must possess an excellent work ethic and make every effort to be at work on time and be a team player.

• Knowledge of point of sale, cash control procedures and cash handling
• Ability to work well with little supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong communications, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong math skills
• Computer PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• General office procedures

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
