Qualification Requirements: To perform the Associate Information Systems Specialist (Level I) role, you must: -Associate's degree in Information Systems, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer science or related field depending on expertise required; or Associate Degree with at least 12 hours college accredited programming/ computer courses; or high school diploma or G.E.D (General Education Development) with at least 12 hours college accredited programming/ computer courses plus 2 years demonstrated knowledge and application of programming, operating systems, database and/ or computer hardware/networking experience or high school diploma or G.E.D. (General Education Development) with a certification in a computer-related area with 3 years’ experience as stated above. -Must have programming skill proficiencies in COBOL ii, ADS/O. Delphi, Visual Basic or related languages; or operating systems proficiencies in Windows, WS,MVS communication systems such as VTAM, MVS utility programs such as TSO/E,TLMS, top Secret Security, CA7 and CA11, or databases skill proficiencies in IDMSP or Oracle, computer hardware/networking proficiencies and/or certifications such as CNE, CNA, MCSE, MCP, A-Plus, etc., or programing skills and operating systems proficiencies with the following security systems or equivalent experience with similar systems; Casi Rusco Picture Perfect Access Control System, Westinghouse Access Control System, ABM Phoenix Alarm Monitoring System, DataCard Quick Works Identifications Card System, and Local and Remote CCTV Monitoring Systems. -Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence. Physical Working Conditions: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis; and some dexterity in operating office equipment.Full Time
