The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. As a Marketing Intern, you will report to the Advertising Manager and work closely with the Marketing Strategist and Marketing Coordinator and to support our advertising, email marketing and mobile initiatives. This is a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in advertising strategies and email/SMS marketing execution and analysis within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

In This Role You Will

Advertising:

• Assist in the creation, implementation and optimization of paid advertising campaigns across Paid Display, OTT, Search, Social, Native & Programmatic channels;
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (impressions, click-through rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend;
• Collaborate with the Advertising Manager to develop effective ad copy, target audience segments, and ad visuals;
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to support paid search campaigns;
• Help maintain and organize campaign data and performance reports and recaps for key campaigns and promotions;
• Support the tracking and implementation of conversion tracking codes and pixels;
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and platform updates in paid advertising;
• Help to maintain budgets to ensure campaigns are staying within defined advertising spend while working to process vendor payments to ensure all paid;
• Assist with 3rd party vendor trafficking to meet all deadlines and EOM billing reconciliation;

 Email:

• Support in the creation, scheduling, and deployment of email marketing campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content and visuals;
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accurate links, formatting, and rendering across different email clients, while assisting in segmentation efforts for targeted communications;
• Monitor email performance metrics, provide analysis and insights, and assist in managing the email marketing calendar for timely campaign delivery;
• Aid in maintaining the email subscriber database, implementing list growth strategies, and staying updated with email marketing best practices and industry standards;

 Mobile:

• Support the creation, scheduling, and deployment of SMS marketing campaigns, conducting quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and formatting;
• Assist in segmentation efforts for personalized SMS communications, monitor performance metrics, and provide analysis;
• Aid in maintaining the SMS subscriber database, implementing list growth strategies, and staying updated with mobile marketing best practices and trends;

 General Marketing:

• Help to develop engaging and persuasive marketing for campaign initiatives;
• Help to document department processes;
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks;
• Other duties as assigned.

The Experience You Will Bring

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications from accredited university of school.
• Understanding of paid advertising principles and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
• Familiarity with email service providers.
• Understanding of mobile, email marketing and advertising principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Growth and learning mindset with a curious, can-do attitude.
• Professional drive, positive attitude and demonstratable strong character.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office/ Microsoft 365.

Nice to Have:

• Marketing Cloud experience.
