Function:
Under the direct supervision of the Manager for ADC Operations, an ADC Attendant is accountable for overall image, customer service, stewardship of donations, ensures donors are greeted in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; assist with the unloading of donations from vehicles, offer tax receipts, and maintains the integrity of donor counts.
Specific Duties:
1. Greets donors within 10 seconds of arrival in a prompt, friendly and courteous manner.
2. Assist donors with the unloading of donations from vehicles, trailers, etc.
3. Offer and provide tax receipts to donors
4. Maintains accurate daily counts of donations.
5. Process donations according to ADC Processing Procedures.
6. Maintains cleanliness at ADC including sweeping inside and outside of center.
7. Breaks down all empty boxes; keeps clean desktop.
8. Keeps all donations inside ADC; ensure trash and debris kept in designated containers.
9. Reports all accidents to the ADC Manager the same day they occur.
10. Secures ADC at the end of the day.
11. Notifies manager of any needed supplies, truck service, and maintenance the center requires.
12. Adheres to Goodwill’s guiding principles
13. Always adheres to Memphis Goodwill safety rules.
14. Other duties as assigned by the manager.
