Job Summary :

The Director of Patient Financial Services(PFS) provides leadership and vision for revenue cycle operations within the hospital and professional services areas.

The operational areas include customer service, patient access, billing, and the collection functions within Memorial. The Director implements and orchestrates operations that focus on collections, providing exceptional customer service, and driving continuous improvement.

The Director provides leadership to create a fully integrated revenue system and maximizes current integration efforts for revenue operations.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Finance or Accounting (5 years of related experience may be substituted for degree).

Experience : Minimum of five (5) years’ experience (with degree requirement) or ten (10) years’ experience (with no degree) in a management or supervisory position in a healthcare finance operations or similar service environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

Education : Master’s degree.

Licensure : Certification through AAHAM, HFMA, ACHE and / or MGMA.

Exeprience : Previous experience in patient access and hospital business office role; experience in a director level position.
