Uses the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver patient care. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Administer one-on-one patient care immediately following post-op until patient meets criteria for discharge. Must work as a team player and provide excellent clinical & emotional care.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing with a current license in the state of Ohio. OR and/or PACU experience preferred. This position functions on all perioperative areas including Outpatient Surgery, OR, PACU and Endoscopy. Must obtain ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. On call required with a less than 45 minute response time.
