Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient and the necessary instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare materials for making impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Assist with front office tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient record

Qualifications
- Knowledge and ability to maintain a sterile environment during dental procedures
- Familiarity with dental practice management software
- Ability to assess patients' oral health conditions and communicate findings to the dentist
- Proficiency in chairside assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry
- HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act): Understanding of patient privacy regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality

Please note that other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
