Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the front of the house, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Manage shift operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and train front-of-house staff on service standards and procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist in food preparation and presentation when needed
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Coordinate catering orders and special events
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Implement team management strategies to enhance staff performance
Skills:
- Proven experience in shift management or as an assistant manager in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Proficiency in food handling techniques and food preparation
- Excellent team management and leadership skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in catering operations is a plus
