meiGroup is Hiring a Customer Service Supervisor Near Arlington, TX

Customer Service Supersvisor - Corporate - Call Center

The Customer Service Supervisor will oversee and assist customer service employees in the performance of their job duties such as responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues. We are currently seeking a highly organized Customer Service Supervisor with great attention to detail and a willingness to learn. The Customer Service Supervisor is a natural problem-solver, able to work independently, and proactively seeks out projects to assist their team. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The Supervisor will be assigned customer service team members to develop and coach
  • The Supervisor will oversee daily financial reconciliation of the department including Payment posting, refunds, chargebacks, overages, and loan modifications
  • The Supervisor will work closely with peers, assisting in colletion talk offs, but also in close relation with the Department Manager
  • The Supervisor is ultimately responsible for delivering an exceptional service experience to every internal and external customer
  • Hires entry-level to experienced customer service employees
  • Trains new employees in the company’s customer service policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff
  • Conducts performance and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
  • Ensured customer service representatives are following company guidelines particularly related to quality of service
  • Monitors, reviews calls and/or other correspondence between representatives and customers
  • Ensures that representatives are informed about changes to company services and/or policies
  • Collects data prepares reports on customers complaints and inquiries.
  • Prepares monthly reports summarizing the assigned customer service team’s performance.
  • Prepares knowledge-based documents such as summaries and responses to frequently asked questions
  • Identifies opportunities to update or improve customer service procedures and makes recommendations to the Operations Manager or other appropriate staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced call center environment 
  • 5 years’ experience in customer service
  • Must have Collections Experience 
  • Has a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving and sound decision-making skills that align with strategic initiatives.
  • Effective delegation and validation and the ability to efficiently execute daily priorities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including every other Saturday
  • Ability to use appropriate analysis, judgment and logic problem solving
  • Demonstrate time management and multitasking skills
  • Must be patient, flexible, dependable and have an outstanding attendance record
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and
  • confidentiality
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • High school or equivalent experience (Required)

Location: In person - Corporate Office

Job Type:Full-time

Work Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday & Every other Saturday
  • Overtime

Salary: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary Base per year (Depending On Experience)

Supplemental pay types: Yearly Bonus
