Meeting Street is currently looking for a School Social Worker for 8 hours per week.
Duties:
- Identifies and assesses academic problems through analysis of factors impinging on student adjustment including factors in the home, school, and community.
- Serves as a liaison between families and the school to positively promote the collaborative processes in educational planning for students.
- Determines and implements appropriate therapeutic strategies to effect change in behavioral-social interactions of students and their families.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work.
- Licensed as a Social Worker by the Massachusetts Department of Health.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in an education setting.
