Medxcel is Hiring a Project Manager Solutions Delivery Near Indianapolis, IN

Overview:

The Solutions Delivery Project Manager is directly responsible for client-facing solutions delivery of complex systems and service portfolios with Medxcel’s customers. The Solutions Delivery Project Manager is responsible to bring technical, functional and leadership expertise to bear when delivering solutions to align with business goals. These solutions include onboarding and offboarding of clients from and to disparate systems, and implementation and enhancement of existing Medxcel internal systems that integrate with other enterprise business systems, requiring an understanding of these other systems and the impact to/from them. Project Manager will ensure best practices are adopted, provide project leadership for strategic solutions delivery projects, and work closely with the end-users, business analysts, management, and other internal and external resources to design, develop and deliver the optimal business solutions in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively and be equally comfortable conversing with customers as with business owners, IS, systems developers, and senior leadership.

This position will be located at Central Office- Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities:

Solutions Delivery- 60%

  • Manage clients and stakeholders expectations by fully defining requirements, obtaining necessary approvals and continuous communication.
  • Direct the development of technology and process solutions for business systems and processes and change cases by identifying desired outcomes, scoping projects and initiatives, assigning roles, managing deliverables and making recommendations and decisions throughout the project.
  • Facilitate and document process maps for current state, future state and complete gap analysis with recommendations.
  • Facilitate development of technical requirements and system solutions between technology and business stakeholders to define project scope and specifications.
  • Advise and counsel organizational leaders to set expectations, and ensure process and documentation consistency related to enterprise initiatives.
  • Handle project scope change and issues and escalate through the appropriate channels.
  • Define and ensure the maintenance of technical and project documentation.
  • Maintain direct and open interaction with functional departments to make sure all resources needed for the project are available.
  • Give clear and unbiased assessment of the movement and nature of projects in relations to scope, schedule, risks and budget.
  • Determine the appropriate time to make advancement on projects and move on to further stages; acknowledge when strategies aren’t effective and implement change of plans.
  • Perform post-project reviews to assess results and compare to objectives.


Customer Transitions - 40%

  • Manage clients and stakeholders expectations by fully defining requirements, obtaining necessary approvals and continuous communication.
  • Effectively create and manage timeline for each transition process including operational evaluation tasks, planning preparation, customer conference calls, Go-Live, resource planning, health assessment, startup tasks, and internal coordination of business units.
  • Apply knowledge and experience of transition process and project management to oversee day to day activities and provide direction to internal and external stakeholders including assigning tasks and ensuring timelines are met.
  • Identify stakeholders and provide timely information to support the change management objectives while ensuring milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with other resources needed for the transition process including but not limited to human resources, training, inventory team, IT, call center, procurement, administration, operations, etc.
  • Meet with stakeholders and clients to evaluate program current state and identify implementation needs and site-specific objectives.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions using change management strategies.
  • Identify and manage potential program risks and impediments, escalating as appropriate.
  • Ensure data collection and documentation are maintained within project file systems.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably business, Information Systems, or Information Technology; or minimum of 5 years managing complex systems implementation projects in a corporate setting in lieu of degree required
  • MBA, Master’s Degree in related field preferred


License/Certification:

  • PMP preferred
  • ITIL preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred


Experience:

  • 5 years complex Project Management experience working within Information Systems alongside Information Technology teams required
  • 3 years of experience in customer facing roles or managing projects with C-suite/organizational leadership collaboration required
  • 3 years of experience developing business-based roadmaps, architecting or integrating solutions and navigating complex IS organizations required
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, Visio, and web technologies required
  • Prior experience in Facilities Management or Healthcare preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of currently utilized Medxcel systems preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to facilitate and drive organizational change through managing multiple complex projects simultaneously including planning, prioritizing and tracking work activities for each work stream following best practices defined by the Medxcel PMO
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and build relationships across all levels of the organization, including demonstration of a win-win approach and sense of urgency to meeting business requirements and solving conflicts
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal through influence rather than direct authority both internally and externally with vendors and customers
  • Proven project management skills including coordination, communication and adherence to budget and completion goals, prioritization, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to facilitate and document process mapping for current state, future state and complete gap analysis with recommendations when needed
  • Ability to translate business requirements into systems specifications and technical requirements through the facilitation of conversations between technology and business stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail throughout the entire solution delivery process
  • Problem solving — identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
  • Recognize, anticipate and document risks, mitigating when able and escalating when appropriate
  • Highly self-motivate with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly and operating successfully in ambiguous situations
  • Must professionally represent the organization while being sensitive and respectful of all internal and external stakeholders and customers without compromising the message that must be delivered
  • Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement, lean, or six sigma initiatives
  • Good crisis management skills to handle pressure from project challenges
  • Works independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel Required: 25-50%
