Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Pharmacy Front Tech to join our team. As a Pharmacy Front Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy by providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacists and pharmacy staff.

Your responsibilities will include :

Responsibilities :

• Customer Service :
• Greet customers and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
• Answer customer inquiries, both in person and over the phone, and provide information regarding prescriptions and product availability.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Prescription Handling :
• Assist pharmacists in processing and filling prescriptions accurately.
• Verify prescription information, insurance coverage, and patient details.
• Inventory Management :
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of non-prescription products, including ordering and restocking as needed.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and report discrepancies to the pharmacy manager.
• Administrative Duties :
• Maintain and update patient records and prescription files in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• File and organize paperwork, including prescription documentation and inventory records.
• Compliance :
• Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations and protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
• Cleanliness and Organization :
• Keep the pharmacy area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State pharmacy technician certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Front Tech or similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and pharmacy software systems.
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math calculations.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
