In this exciting role as a Manufacturing Engineer II, you will have responsibility for supporting the service America’s group that performs service and repairs on customer devices and company assets. 

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

·Create and/or update transfer service processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.

·Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.

·Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.

·Adapts machine or equipment design to be used for factory service.This may require qualifying additional equipment.

·May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the manufacturing or service process.

·Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.

·Develops and or updates manufacturing and services processes that are applicable to the products that area serviced at Plainfield.

·Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

·Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

·Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 2 years of work experience in Engineering, manufacturing and/or Quality OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 0 years of work experience.

Nice to Have 

• Knowledge of CAP Agile
• Experience with Product Transfer
• Basic Knowledge of electronics
• Able to read schematics
