A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  • Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.
  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.
  • Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Strong experience working across a matrixed organization using written and verbal skills tocommunicate and understand cross-functional teams’ interactions and responsibilities.• Influence management skills: experience working collaboratively at all levels in matrixenvironment to build and maintain the positive relationships required to accomplishorganizational goals.WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Usual office environment with frequent* sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional* climbing,stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communicationthrough automated devices such as the telephone. Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally* and/or 10 poundsfrequently. Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others. Ability to travel frequently*, domestically and internationally. Ability to provide afterhours support.*Occasional: Activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.*Frequent: Activity exists between 1/3 and 2/3 of the time. A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
