Nurses on Unit 3F(General Surgery) care for acutely ill and surgically complex patients. Wewelcome patients from a variety of medical and surgical specialties. As amultispecialty surgical unit, the 3F patient population includes Urology,Thoracic, Plastics, Trauma, in addition to other surgical services. 

This 31 bed unit isa great place to become an expert surgical nurse and be exposed to a variety ofspecialized post-operative surgical nursing skills. The staff and nurses on 3Fare highly skilled, motivated, and committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
