MedSource Staffing Agency, is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician in and around the Rome, GA area.

This is a PART TIME Temp to Hire position at 24 to 32 hours a week. This is NOT a work from home position and candidates should live within the area.

You will be scheduled during operational hours which is between 9am and 7pm M-Sat. No SUNDAYS! You will be scheduled for a max of 32 hours a week, but minimum of 24.

Ideal candidate should have previous Pharmacy Tech experience with a solid work history to be considered.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months as pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy
• This position does NOT require a state certification, however it is a plus if you have this certification registered with Georgia
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Provide excellent and professional customer service at point of sale (checkout/register)

· Overall welcoming and good attitude to all customers and patients

· Maintain Pharmacy presentation by ensuring stock replenished, clean, and signed

· Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory

· Greet customers and answer questions and check out customers with their Rxs

· Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate

· Comply with all security measures and quality standards

Temp to Hire:

This is a temp to hire position working at our partner client site through MedSource Staffing Agency.

Pay Rage:

MedSource Staffing Agency hourly wage for this position is between $15.00 and $16.00 per hour depending upon previous experience. MedSource Staffing pays weekly each Friday following the end of a pay period (Sunday-Saturday) from the previous week via direct deposit.
