Salary Range Hourly: $26.98 - $43.17
Salary Range Annually: $56,118.40 - $89,793.60
Sign On Bonus Pay Out Schedule: 5,000 in first check, $2,500 after 6 months, and 2,500 after 1 year
Job Overview:
- Under general supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, in accordance with established philosophy.
- Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.
- The ANA’s standards apply to all nurses in all settings, and additional specialty standards apply to all specialty nurse’s defining what is a competent or an excellent clinician.

- He or she will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his or her supervisor.
- Must have experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Client utilizes Allscripts Paragon.
- Must be able to read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations.
- Must be able and willing to float without hesitation.
- 2-bed unit (step-down unit nursing position that must float to Med Surge and regular ICU).
- Patient ratio is 2:1.
- 4 to 6-week orientation before going on to the floor- Hands-On Training.
- Client will give tour of unit at interview.

Weekend Requirements: Weekend Rotation
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience: One year of nursing experience related to a specialty area preferred; one year of medical-surgical nursing experience required. Telemetry and ICU experience required
- Required Skills: Current N.H. R.N. license. ACLS Certification required; PALS Certification recommended. Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience required. PCCN or CCRN Certification preferred. Ability to learn and adapt. Ability to direct others.
