We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to healthcare providers across multiple specialties, including medical, surgical, and aesthetic treatments and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers during medical consultations, examinations, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for medical, surgical, and aesthetic procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sterility according to established protocols.
• Perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs, documenting patient medical history, and assisting with wound care and dressing changes.
• Administer medications and injections under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers, adhering to medication administration guidelines and protocols.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative care and monitoring.
• Provide patient education and instructions regarding medical, surgical, and aesthetic treatments, including pre-operative and post-operative care, medication management, and wound care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care, communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a medical assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in taking vital signs, performing basic medical procedures, and assisting with minor surgical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the care team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and medical office software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
