Duties:

- Assist pharmacist in medication dispensing and administration
- Prepare and package medications for patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
- Perform inventory management and order supplies as needed
- Follow aseptic techniques and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Florida Pharmacy Technician License a MUST
- Pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
- Experience working in a retail and/or LTC pharmacy a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and documentation
- Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues
