Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista with experience preparing orders, tending the register, customer service, cleaning. Looking for a friendly individual, with outgoing personality, who can work in a fast paced environment.
As a Barista with food prep experience, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service by preparing and serving a variety of high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. In addition, you will be responsible for assembling and serving foods like Acai bowls, avocado toast, smoothies and more.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and specialty drinks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of beverages and baked goods.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other related equipment in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including coffee stations, baking areas, and equipment.
- Handle cash and process customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer inquiries regarding ingredients, flavors, and allergen information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service during peak hours.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in coffee brewing techniques, including espresso-based beverages.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent product quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
