C.B.K Catering & Events is seeking a Cafe Cashier & Barista. We are a small grab and go type cafe located in the heart of downtown Tampa. We serve grab and go breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, coffee, espresso drinks and more. This candidate must be organized and a self-starter. We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages to our customers. Your role will also involve providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: re-stocking, opening and closing duties, replenishing of beverages (hot and cold), making specialty coffee beverages (hot and cold), cashing customers out and cleaning.

Candidate must be available for hours of operation (7AM-3PM).

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other related equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure that all food safety guidelines are followed during the preparation and handling of food items
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
