MEDICAL TRAINING COLLEGE is Hiring an Admissions Representative Near Baton Rouge, LA

Position Description:
Do you have excellent customer service skills? Are you exceptionally organized and an effective communicator both in-person and on the phone? Do you have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others and see them succeed?
The ideal candidate will provide positive assistance to prospective students searching for career training. Getting results & doing what is right by the prospective student is a MUST!
This is a full-time position with benefits. Typically a 40-hour week, Monday Friday.
Responsibilities include:
  • Recruiting students into career training programs and scheduling campus visits by:
  • Setting appointments with incoming prospects to visit the campus and learn more about the career programs offered.
  • Involves heavy phone work and follow-up, but no cold calling.
  • Follow-up includes phones, email, texts, etc.
  • Conducting face-to-face interviews on campus to assess the education needs, vocational ambitions, of prospective students and help match prospects to career training.
  • Helping the prospective student through the admissions requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience in recruiting, college admissions, public relations, career counseling, inside sales or customer service is strongly preferred.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must not be afraid of the phone and must enjoy working with people over the phone.
  • Must be computer-literate, able to fully utilize and record all activity in CRM program.
  • The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
