The PHLEBOTOMIST / MEDICAL ASSISTANT is a hands-on and integral part of the day-to-day operations of a successful practice. Working alongside and under the supervision of medical professionals, the PHLEBOTOMIST / MEDICAL ASSISTANT is able to help deliver an outstanding outcome to patients and families. The ideal candidate will possess a certifications in PHLEBOTOMIST / MEDICAL ASSISTANT from an accredited agency.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preform expert venipuncture with skill and care.
• Perform triage telephone screenings of patients and document basic medical history.
• Ensure accurate notes of all communications are recorded in the patients record.
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports
• Check with patients and type up patients charts
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Professional communication and presentation skills, including face to face, email, telephone, and video conference.
• Information Resource Access and retrieve patient data from systems and enter required information into the system.
• Phone, email, and text correspondence with patients as needed.
• Maintenance of various departmental records.
• Provides clinical support to the RPM Department.
• Performs related duties as assigned by leadership.
• Qualifications and Skills

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION

· Family Medicine, Urgent Care & MedSpa, Delray Beach, FL.

· Assist Physician (M.D.), PA-C and staff.

· Vital signs, draw blood, administer injections, laboratory processing.

· Clerical - laboratory reports, radiology reports, medical specialty reports.

· Medical supplies, ordering and maintaining office inventory.

· Telephone contact with patients, pharmacies, medical specialists, etc.

· Front office duties: check-in, check-out patients, collect payments, patient appointments, medical specialty referrals, billing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
