Orthopedic Surgical Nurse Practitioner – Southern, Colorado (Clinic and Rounding)--Sports Medicine (must have muscular skeletal back ground in Orthopedics or as an athletic trainer
Compensation Package: $140,000-$150,000 Depending Upon Experience Practice overview: Hospital-employed position - outpatient clinic attached to an acute care hospital
Expected patient load : 18-20 patients in clinic per day
Procedures needed: Practice sees a wide variety of orthopedic cases i.e., knee, ACL, hip, shoulder (rotator cuff) and some ankle fractures - working to expand sports medicine services
Call Expectations: None
EMR – McKesson Paragon and Practice Partner system
Radiology services – 128-slice CT scanner, 1.5 Tesla MRI, onsite radiology 4 days per week, 24/7 remote tele-radiology services, limited interventional radiology available
Procedures needed: Practice sees a wide variety of orthopedic cases i.e., knee, ACL, hip, shoulder (rotator cuff) and some ankle fractures - working to expand sports medicine services
Call Expectations: Evening and weekend call, not to exceed 12 call days per month

401(a) retirement account will be established on the employee's behalf. The facility will contribute 3% of the employee’s gross annual pay, not to exceed IRS guidelines. Vesting Schedule applies. In addition to the 401a contribution, employees participating in the 403(b) Voluntary Pre-Tax Retirement Plan will be eligible for a 2% match after meeting eligibility requirements.
Paid Time Off
Paid time off (“PTO”) is available to Provider employees to use for vacation, sick days, personal time, holidays, CME, and any other reason for which they require time away from work. Provider employees will receive PTO in accordance with the number of years worked, as listed below:
Less than 5 years: 208 hours of paid time off per calendar year
5 years or more: 248 hours of paid time off per calendar year
