Family Nurse Practitioner – Rural Health Clinic Setting / 5/8 hour shifts with one weekend rotation (Family Practice) – Stratford, TX (New Graduate Friendly Setting) / Collaborating Physician Support!

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a well-respected critical access hospital working in a rural health clinic setting working an 8 hour shift (8a-5p) schedule with rotating weekend coverage among the providers. This position is located in a small rural town (Stratford, TX) convenient to Amarillo, Texas. When the provider works weekend coverage he/she will be off the following weekday to compensate for weekend coverage. The Provider would work fairly independently with collaborative physician support and see an estimated 15-16 patients per day in the clinic. The primary care provider would see a diverse patient population and treat routine, acute and chronic illnesses and minor injuries. The Provider would also be allowed to cross cover in the ER and pick up extra shifts if interested. The Provider would enjoy working in a rural community and enjoy excellent support and training. This facility is convenient to Amarillo, TX.

The Nurse Practitioner would enjoy a competitive starting base salary of $125,000-$135,000 per year. plus WRVU incentives with a full benefits package including Medical Dental, Vision, PTO and 401K with match, generous PTO CME, CME Allowance of $1,500 and all dues, fees and licensure paid for as well. The Provider would also receive relocation assistance as well.

Additionally, the Provider would be able to apply for loan repayment through either the NHSC or Nursing Corp program as this is a designated HPSA for primary care. The Provider would be eligible to receive up to $25,000 per year paid directly to the candidates federally qualified student loans minimum of a two year commitment required or up to 60% of their loans paid though the Nursing Corp program. This requires a separate application as it is a Federally sponsored program.
