What You Will Do
- Verify publications upon arrival at warehouse
- Count, stack and sort multiple newspapers
- Load and haul bundles in a company vehicle to drop off location
- Check to make sure the vehicle is equipped properly
- Obey all traffic regulations and laws
- Report any problems, concerns, or damage to the vehicle before completing the workday
- Bend, stretch and lift bundles weighing up to 25 pounds
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Ability to communicate verbally
- Basic computer skills (ability to input timesheets)
- Ability to safely operate a standard sized cargo van
- Ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack
- Clean DMV record
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Routine driving in a company vehicle in the Monterey/Salinas area with associated factors; exposure to weather elements a probability
