com / careers A little about the position : Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the service writer is a liaison between the customer and service technician.

Information about the location youll be working at : Here in Anchorage, we have a large showroom floor, with an Alaskan feel.

Some of the duties of this position :

Daily interaction with customersOpen work orders and document description of symptoms in sufficient detail to provide technician with information necessary to efficiently perform service workVerify warranty contract coverage and explaining provisions and exclusions as necessaryUpdating the customer on the status of their work orderWork directly with Service Manager to schedule and assign work orders as necessaryFacilitate parts ordering and delivery to keep technicians on the wrenchResearching and recommending correct parts / equipment for a given jobAssisting customer with purchase of small equipmentPerforms other related duties as assigned.
