Job Description

A large retail employer in Katy, Tx. Is looking for a UX Researcher to join their team! This individual will work collaboratively with designers, developers, and digital marketing, and work closely with the broader marketing teams, sales, product, and a variety of other teams in the organization.

This person will craft and execute ideas across various campaigns and media and develop creative copy for Academy.com deliverables, write, proofread, and edit long form articles that will be published in our Expert Advice section of the website, perform keyword / topic research to optimize content (articles, products pages, and category pages), assist SEO team members on the execution of tactics and strategies, utilize reporting and analysis tools to generate reports that track and communicate the business impact of SEO initiatives, perform competitive analysis and present findings in compelling ways, and develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures, and safety rules.

This person must be local to Katy and comfortable reporting onsite 5 days / week.

Skills and Requirements

2 years of advertising copywriting experience

2 years of long form content writing required

Demonstrated experience in short-form marketing copy.

Superior written and verbal communication skills; spelling and understanding of grammar are essential to the role. null
