JOB TITLE :

Library Aide - Geology Library

JOB PURPOSE :

Assist Geology Library staff with circulation and customer service tasks

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Open and close the library.Check in / out library materials to library users.Shelve books and maps.

Data entry / computer work.Scan articles to be sent electronically to patrons.Special projects as assigned.REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY :

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

Education : High School Diploma / GEDExperience : none

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Candidates with a work study award for academic year '24-'25 preferred and will be given full consideration.

Eligibility for work study is determined through completion of the FAFSA form).Customer service experience / skills.Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to alphabetize.Ability to lift up to 20 lbs with or without a reasonable accommodation.Some knowledge of Word and Excel.
