The Salvation Army (TSA), Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) is ano-fee program to assist men & women in completing our drug / alcoholrehabilitation program.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES : The Lead Sales provides customers with the best selection, exceptionalservice and well-organized stores so we can offer spiritual, social, andrehabilitation programs to those in need.

Lead Sales will work closely withthe management team in the day-to day task and responsibilities for TSA FamilyStore including but not limited to meeting store sales and income budgetexpectations, create a positive and mentoring environment, and implementpositive and effective Work Therapy Assignments (WTA).

Takes an active role and partners with the Store Manager in daily storeoperations. These routines include opening andclosing procedures, point of sale operations, inventory management androtation, ARC merchandising standards (CNOStandards) and donations.

Assumes responsibility for all day-to-day store operations (includingpersonnel and cash handling) in the absence of theStore and / or Assistant Manager.

Discuss concerns with District Sales Manager.Assists Store Manager to monitor and analyze key performance indicators todrive store sales and increase profitabilityas projected by budget and goals set by Command Retail Directors and CommandAdministration.

In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager - Schedule StoreEmployees to ensure appropriate coveragein store and donation center.

Responsible for processing of paperworkper Review Standards, especially as itrelates to Time and Attendance compliance.Ensure high levels of Customer and Donor satisfaction through excellentservice to meet their needs while alsomaintaining good Community relations.

Develop strategies to improve service tomaximize the customer experience.BRP (Back Room Processing) - Support Store Manager to ensure Back RoomProcessors / Warehouse Associates workeffectively and efficiently to meet daily processing goals.

Responsible for supervision, support, and conduct reporting of programBeneficiaries if or when Work TherapyAssignments are put in place at the store.

In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager - Responsible forthe protection and security of storecurrency, inventory, and property.

This includes safe funds (includingdaily logging of cash deposits), bank deposits,products for sale, store equipment, and building security.

Ensure building is secured during non-operating hours with alarm system armingand alert protocol.Assures that safety measures are established and maintained consistent withARC policy and governmental regulations,and that safety issues and incidents are reported immediately.

Assists StoreManager and Assistant Manager withconducting and recording mandatory Weekly Store Meetings.May transfer or be relocated to other stores based on business needs.

Completes all tasks (written or verbal) as assigned by the District SalesManager, Command Retail Directors andCommand Administration.

QUALIFICATIONS : High School Diploma or equivalent.Must have a minimum of one-year previous retail experience and Supervisoryexperience preferred.

Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and SexOffender Registry.Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees,customers and donor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, andtwist on an intermittent or continuous basis.

Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinetdrawers, clothing carts, merchand se carts, rolling clothingracks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, handtrucks and miscellaneous carts.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.PAY AND BENEFITS OFFERED :
