Our methodologies provide a consistent but creative experience for each class type, every time.Position OverviewOur Company is growing, and the successful candidate will assist the General Manager with new membership sales, studio operations and cleaning, and membership retention.

The CBX (CycleBar Experience) team member provides superior customer service while assisting new and current students in class selections, answering membership questions, and handling merchandise purchases.

In addition to strong customer service skills, they must have knowledge of basic computer functions, be able to communicate in an effective and efficient way, be team-oriented, and have a drive and passion for sales and service.

We expect our team to be excited about meeting and greeting our customers and be part of building a strong community.This position is a part- to full-time hourly role, with a pay range of $16 / hour to $20 / hour, based on experience.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSalesExecute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and closing the sale.Meet and exceed sales goals as established by the General Manager.

Build relationships and understand a prospect’s fitness goals, and present available services to help them achieve goals.

Conduct studio tours with prospects to build rapport to facilitate sales; book appointments for and follow up after initial class visits.

Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the studio.

Develop selling skills by participating in trainings and company meetings.Be knowledgeable about all products, programs and pricing.

Greet members and visitors warmly and make them feel welcome in the studio.Club OperationsMaintain a clean and safe studio during shift by assisting with cleaning tasks as directed by General Manager or Company policies.

Follow all procedures established by the Company to operate the studio in accordance with government health directives and guidelines.

OtherMaintain a positive, upbeat attitude; promote and exemplify Company values, and represent Company objectives and interests to internal and external customers.

Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal / external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.

Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Company Management.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and / or Experience2 years of retail / fitness sales experienceRequired Technical / Other Skills and AbilitiesMust be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, and via email;

Spanish language skills are a bonusStrong customer service skillsSolid writing and grammar skillsProfessional, punctual, reliable and neatStrong attention to detail and accuracyTrustworthy and ability to handle confidential informationAbility to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general publicAbility to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may become angry or raise their voicesProficient with computers and studio softwarePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, and kneel.

May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.Must be able to physically complete cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting and disinfecting surfaces.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone.Compensation and PerksThis position offers a competitive

hourly wage and commissions

paid on sales. There is opportunity for bonus based on performance, and opportunity for growth within the company, including additional sales and management positions.
