Media Sales Plus is currently hiring a Bilingual French/English Multimedia Marketing Associate (MMA) to join our team of media sales professionals. The primary responsibility of this position is to sell and handle print and digital advertising on behalf of Company and the client partners it serves. Responsibilities include managing relationships with advertisers, effectively selling, renewing, and expanding client accounts, overseeing the sales process, and acting as a primary point of contact. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional closing, organizational, and communication skills, proficiency in system processing, as well as the ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines. In this role, our Multimedia Marketing Associate will work with both English and French speaking customers via phone and email.

As an MMA, you will be responsible for selling and managing print and digital advertising on behalf of our company and our client partners. This role requires exceptional closing skills, outstanding organizational abilities, effective communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.

Key responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to support customers by speaking, reading, and writing in both English and French
  • Manage relationships with advertisers, handling inquiries and guiding them through the advertising process.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses for warm leads, offering recommendations, and securing new and recurring multimedia print and digital advertising within a designated territory.
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to calls and email inquiries regarding advertising and customer service.
  • Grow existing advertiser relationships, identifying additional advertising opportunities to meet the needs of the customers.
  • Coordinate and process orders for various advertising products, including retail display ads, print inserts, flyers, digital media buys, and social media buys.
  • Foster long-term business relationships through regular outreach to existing advertisers.
  • Collaborate with the extended team and management to ensure exceptional service both internally and externally.
  • Become proficient in using various systems for advertising processing, adhering to policies, guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales information in specified systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in an inside sales environment. Telephone sales and account management experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and data entry proficiency.
  • Knowledge of advertising and marketing products is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when speaking with customers over the phone.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
  • Quick learner, with the ability to adapt to new systems and software.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Comfortable working in an office environment.
