Summary:

The Lowell Sun is looking for a District Manager. As a District Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing multiple branches within your assigned district. Your main responsibilities will revolve around providing guidance, driving operational excellence, and achieving sales and revenue growth.

What you will do:

  • Deliver down routes
  • Support carriers on routes, assist in warehouse operations, and help single copy as needed
  • Collect carrier bills if necessary
  • Entering system corrections for carrier and customer information
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure problem situations have been resolved
  • Projecting a positive image in presentation of customer service
  • Expand Circulation by getting more subs on routes using promotions, sample programs, and contests

What you will bring:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Outstanding accountability needed for problem solving
  • Ability to work independently – with little supervision – but in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is mandatory
  • Weekend hours required
  • Able to be able to lift 50 lbs. at times
  • Dependability is a must
