Media Children’s House Montessori School was established in 1976 and is an independent Montessori School with programs available for children 18 months of age through kindergarten. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a nurturing, respectful, inspiring, and safe learning/classroom environment.
• Provide and support learning experiences related to Montessori philosophy and practice.
• Plan and implement lessons.
• Maintain accurate records on student progress.
• Supervise the students at all times.
• Meet the individual needs of each student.
• Maintain beauty, cleanliness, and order in the Montessori environment.
• Communicate positively with students, parents, and coworkers.
• Attend school functions, as set forth on the school calendar.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have graduated from an approved 4-year college or university and submit documentary evidence of successful completion hours in the theory of child development, early childhood, or elementary education.
• Must have obtained Montessori certification or be willing to pursue training.
• Must obtain required clearances and complete a bi-annual health assessment.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
