Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Ambulance Night Dispatcher. As a Ambulance Night Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and dispatching resources afterhours to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Patients
- Must be able to work as part of a diverse team, able to work with and without supervision
- Must be proficient in the use of computers, familiar with CAD systems
- Able to make critical decisions by yourself
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all parties involved
- Transcribe accurate and detailed information from phone calls into Dispatch Software
- Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain records
-Must be able to work on night shifts and weekend shifts
- Dispatch appropriate resources based on the nature of the request or emergency
- Must be able to answer multi-line emergency and non-emergency calls while dispatching
- Monitor field personnel activities and provide support as needed
Qualifications:
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze information quickly and make informed decisions
- Proficient in data entry and computer systems
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-High school diploma
-Must be able to pass a drug test.
