Mechanical Tool & Engineering (MTE Hydraulics) is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. The Inside Sales Specialist will build strong internal and customer relationships to support our current and future business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and account management to customers, key legacy, distribution accounts and MTE Hydraulics.
  • Prepare and write quotes.
  • Enter and update sales orders.
  • Assist with pricing, delivery requests and returns.
  • Prepare and process RMA’s, credits, debits, and vouchers.
  • Acquire a clear understanding of the customer’s on-going support and control expectations from both the sales team and the customer.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
  • Work closely with other team members including, engineering, and production to meet and exceed client expectations.

  • Proficiency in English, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, related software and data entry.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least two years data entry, sales and application skills in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience with hydraulic products is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have visual and hearing acuity.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to traverse property and facility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $43,000.00 per year
