Do you have experience babysitting or teaching? Or maybe enthusiasm for playing with children and helping them learn new things? MeBe is looking for empathetic, thoughtful individuals who have a passion for working with young children to join our awesome team! Don’t stress; we provide hours of hands-on training to teach you exactly how to use play-based strategies with your kiddos!

Responsibilities:

•  Teach and promote behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills to young children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in a fun, play-oriented setting using programs that are developed for you by a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)

• Work in both one-on-one and group settings within one of MeBe's Learning centers or the client's home (We’re a collaborative bunch!) 

• Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in behaviors (Love that progress!)

• Effectively communicate positive feedback to clients and record objective daily data (We’ll teach you how!) 

• Maintain client confidentiality and a clean, safe, and organized work environment 

• Have fun, be creative, and love what you do! (This part is almost too easy!) 

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday (Preferred)

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

• Experience working with children

• Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid identification

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred) 

• Must obtain RBT certification within 60 days of employment (we'll help you!)

• Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (with or without reasonable accommodations)

• Ability to pass a background check

• Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients (in applicable states: CA and AZ)
