Mead & Hunt is Hiring an Entry-Level Sanitary Sewer Survey Technician Near Daytona Beach, FL
Responsibilities:
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an entry-level sanitary sewer survey technician.
Responsibilities include:
Collecting field data associated with the completion of a typical Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Survey
Monitoring flow; testing smoke; testing dye; etc.
Performing field investigations by collecting high quality and accurate data
Inspecting Manholes – recording various structure attributes and identifying defects in accordance with NASSCO MACP standards
Conducting dye water tracing and dye water flooding
Working in confined spaces, including sanitary sewer manholes
Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing hardware and software
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass Mead & Hunt’s vehicle safety program criteria. Travel, overnight stays and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds will also be required.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
High school diploma or GED (or higher)
Previous experience/willingness to work in and around sanitary sewer lines
Experience with MS Office software
Ability/willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
