Function & Responsibility

Compiles and maintains accounts receivable records.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.

· Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail.

· Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.

· Prepare analytical and ratio analysis relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing. 

 · Prints all accounts receivable reports and maintains all accounts receivable files.

· Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.

· Assists in monthly closings. 

· Support other accounting and finance team members.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Requires the individual to work at a desk on a computer for an extended period of time with periods of time in which they will have to move around the office for interaction with others. Requires interaction with others via the telephone for extended periods of time.

Requires light physical effort such as stopping and bending, and occasional lifting of lightweight objects (up to 25 pounds). The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.

· Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.

· Ability to effective and efficiently utilize company software in support of job requirements

Minimum Qualifications

· High school graduate with two to three years’ work experience. 

· Two to Four years experience handling the job responsibilities outlined above.
