About the Role

This is a part time independent contractor role where you will be paid per project. We are seeking lead event planners who will independently manage an event on their own on event day. This is a person who takes responsibility for solving problems and takes ownership of each event after being assigned. This is ideal for event planners who have flexible schedules and can take on additional events per year.

McNeill Legacy of Luxury is looking for event planners passionate about coordinating special occasions for our clients. As an event planner with us, you'll orchestrate every aspect of our clients' special occasions, from research and logistics to vendor coordination and on-the-day execution. Ensuring our clients are happy and eager to return for future planning needs. For every event you plan with us, you will receive a fixed rate amount as an independent contractor.

As our company continues to expand, there will be fluctuations in workload, with some seasons being busier than others, with also seasons of lower activity. However, rest assured that you will be promptly notified when an event is ready for your planning expertise. We encourage flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the dynamic nature of the role.

Responsibilities:

• Follow the company's event planning process and procedures.
• Organize small-scale events of diverse sizes and purposes.
• Ensure seamless logistics coordination.
• Manage clients' budgets according to their preferences.
• Supervise communication with vendors.
• Collect feedback from clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning stages.

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years managing and supporting events.
• Passion for event planning and a genuine love for creating memorable experiences.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly based on feedback.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Capability to work independently and proactively.
• Solution-oriented mindset and optimistic approach.
• Strong background in providing excellent customer service.
• Must be an insured business.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.57 - $29.59 per hour
