The General Labor - position is responsible for preparing goods for final put away including labeling, wrapping or bagging and stacking on pallets or in carts.

Minor duties include scrap regrind, housekeeping and minor machine operations.

IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

• Receive product from production line to packing table
• Label material and pack into bags or use plastic wrapping for protection
• Package final items : coils onto pallet or sticks into delivery area
• Count and wrap final pallets for inventory put away
• Assists Quality Control to identify issues (color, finish, print, etc.)
• Understands basic operation of cutting / packaging equipment
• Be able to operate saw, coiler and switch between the two
• Be able to load pre-defined coiler programs
• Any additional duties assigned by management

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and / or experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.

Typical qualifications would be :

• Minimum completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift / handle packages up to 50lbs
• Basic operation of production equipment
• Effectively communicate with operators on equipment or product issues
• Have a good attendance record
• Required to work onsite
