Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and providing necessary assistance
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Conduct night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and preparing reports
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following established procedures
- Provide excellent customer service, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Strong hospitality management skills, with a focus on guest relations
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures
- Experience in night audit functions is preferred
- Bilingual skills (if applicable) to effectively communicate with a diverse range of guests
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Proficiency in using phone systems and demonstrating proper phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
