Summary
AFC is looking for a self-motivated and confident communicator for the Project Manager, Managed Care position at our Birmingham, AL headquarters. The Project Manager, Managed Care will directly report to the Director, Managed Care and be responsible for coordination and reporting related to ongoing managed care contract negotiations. They will have a strong ability to analyze metrics and derive key learnings and implications. This role will be a key contributor and business resource for our rapidly growing corporate and franchisee communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assistance in developing Managed Care comparison reporting utilizing available information
Conduct initial review of proposed contracts, highlighting priority areas
Monitor incoming support requests and prioritize based on business impact
Review and maintain project schedule for all ongoing contract negotiations
Respond to information requests from management
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Essential Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Highly organized, self-sufficient and detail oriented
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface well with teammates and matrix partners
Educational Requirements
College degree preferred
