Our three-doctor family owned clinic is recruiting for a full-time individual to assist in managing the inflow and outflow of patients while communicating with clients as they visit or call our office.
Our fast-paced office sees many walk-in patients daily and needs someone who is able to effectively communicate with clients, other staff members, multi-task, adapt to many situations, and highly proficient in learning new computer software.
As one of the few remaining privately owned small animal veterinary clinics in town we strive for a strong workplace culture with a focus on our core values.
A healthy workplace also results in the best care for our patients. We have recently expanded and to better serve our clients and patients we need new long-term dedicated candidates to join our team.
Pay $12-$20 per hour based on qualifications, pay raises are determined periodically based on performance Qualifications : -High School Diploma -Bachelor’s degree in business related or communications majors (preferred) -Available between 7 : 00 and 5 : 30 pm / until close Monday through Friday and 7 : 00 am to 11 : 00 am / until close on Saturdays.
Alternating weekend shifts required (overtime probable). One scheduled weekday off per week Experience : -Customer Service / Client communications or office administration (1 year) -Veterinary Medicine field (1 year preferred) Required Skills : -Recognizes and contributes to the culture and teamwork of our clinic -Task oriented with a positive attitude -Comfortable around animals -Excellent written and verbal communications -Effective at reading and retaining protocols and processes -Strong initiative in performing tasks correctly -Self-motivation in learning new skills or tasks -Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft and capable of learning new programs (Experience in AvImark veterinary practice software preferred) -Strong ethical boundaries -Capable of multi-tasking under busy circumstances and prioritizing daily tasks -Cleanliness and follows daily cleaning tasks Job Types : Full-time, Part-time Salary : $12.
