McLaren Health Care is Hiring a Radiation Therapist I Near Detroit, MI
Under general direction and supervisionand in accordance with prescription, operates x-ray therapy equipment in orderto simulate and/or treat patients for malignancies and pain.
Responsibilities:
· Documents treatment procedures inpatients charts and verifies accuracy.
· Performs quality assurance checksdaily on equipment.
· Performs calculations whenrequired.
· Performs basicdosimetry calculation.
· Bachelors degree in RadiationTherapy Technology or graduate of a CAHEA accredited school to RadiationTherapy or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Current registration or registryeligible with the ARRT. Mustsuccessfully complete registry examination in Radiation Therapy within one yearof date of hire.
· Operates all linear accelerators and simulators with minimalsupervision.
