McKinney is Hiring an Employee Experience Specialist - Contract Near Durham, NC

Purpose
Assist with planning, developing and facilitating the implementation of programs and events to deliver an outstanding employee experience that exemplifies our McKinney values.

Responsibilities
Employee Engagement & Experience

Assist in facilitating a work environment and culture that contributes to memorable employee experiences

  • Support Agency Operations in executing effective employee gatherings with consistent implementation processes and standards across all offices.
  • Daily beverage and supply set up in the Agency; tidy areas throughout the day
  • Maintain organized and stocked kitchens and storage closet
  • Maintain inventory of all beverage and paper products
  • Order monthly agency lunches in Durham
  • Provide set up and clean up for Pub Wednesday
  • Communicate with Facilities Manager the weekly plans and needs of the office

Client Concierge
Provide food and beverage services for all client-related functions. Perform as logistical
event coordinator and/or support role for all agency-sponsored or contributory events.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and caterers
  • Partner with Account Manager and key stakeholders in preparation for a client visit
  • Provide catering support for client meetings, including preparing the space for a client visit and hosting the event
  • Follow up on post-meeting to ensure meeting area is returned to McKinney standard
  • Use phone app for door access to visitors

Other Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and bending all day. Must frequently lift or move items up to 20 pounds. Occasional after-hours and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Experience
3 years of relevant administrative or human resources experience, such as employee engagement.
