McKinley Paper – Wisconsin has an immediate need for a Check-In Office Attendant in its Combined Locks. Wisconsin Paper Mill.

This role serves as the first point of contact for inbound and outbound trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing semi-trailer inventory, providing directions, and processing necessary paperwork. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments, including Shipping, Trucking, Material Handling, and Logistics. This is a M-F, day position. 

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist inbound trucks with check-in procedures and provide directions for drop & hook or live unload.
• Track inbound semi-trailer inventory (full and empty) and enter appropriate information into our systems.
• For outbound trucks, greet and provide directions on where they need to pick up their load or to get loaded.
• Process and provide necessary paperwork for outbound trucks.
• Maintain information in and print from our internal systems.
• Work closely with Shipping, Trucking, Material Handling, and Logistics departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to quickly perform high school level math skills and understand the results.
• Excellent verbal communication skills. Comfortable and patient communicating with people whose primary language may not be English.
• Highly organized and reliable.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
