Current Need

We are seeking an Inbound Scheduling Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, FL

Position Description:

This Inbound Scheduling Analyst is responsible for managing shipment information, lead times and demand projections to assist in the scheduling and confirmation of delivery appointments for all McKesson Medical-Surgical Distribution Centers. The position is accountable for carrier and vendor service metrics leading to greater supply chain efficiencies. The role will interact with both internal and external, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Carrier & DC appointment scheduling and on-time service performance against low supply items to establish corrective action to maximize each DC’s receipts on a per day basis
• Through on-going communications with each MMS DC, understand the current daily inbound capacity constraints of each receiving department
• Lead projects to gain efficiencies with inbound freight and DC receiving
• Collaborate with McKesson’s suppliers on initiatives to reduce lead time and improve inbound delivery service levels.
• Responsible for reporting – daily, ad-hoc, and canned
• Work with Sr. Inbound Scheduling Analyst on enhancements and functionality for Managed Receiving inbound dock scheduling tool.
• Responsible for daily operations troubleshooting and support. 

Shift Details: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years’ inventory or logistics experience
• 2 years of Transportation experience
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Critical Skills

• 1 years’ experience with analytics and/or logistics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with creating written reports; must be able to effectively communicate to internal and external teams.
• Experience with Capstone Managed Receiving and/or a dock scheduling software application.
• EDI (856 ASNs) experience
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
• Proven attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Work independently and prioritizes work efforts to focus on highest value-added activities.

Education
4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience
