**Schedule:**

Monday-Friday Scheduled shift 5:00am- 1:30pm (Our team works until completion and will require some overtime) You must be flexible to work past 1:30 pm.

**Current Need:**

Our Distribution Center is looking for a dynamic and motivated Lead Material Handler associate to join our team. ?This is a fantastic chance to work for a company that has the rare mix of being a fun, yet high-paced and professional work environment. Day to day you will be helping our team improve on the overall process of the building and the individual team member.

**Responsibilities:**

* Must have the ability to mento less-experienced peers and assist supervisors (20 30 employees).

* Responsible for completing the inventory process including cycle counts, returns, slotting, inquiries, recalls, and overall departmental operational functionality on a daily basis.

* Administers and operates the Distribution Centers product inventory.

* Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified, and readily accessible to authorized personnel.

* Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Daily tasks include analyzes, investigates, and corrects inventory discrepancies, slotting inventory, materials and equipment, bin verifications, product destruction orders, recalls, returns.

* Accounts for all variances with inventory, vendor shipments, bin verifications throughout the product lifetime.

* Corrects discrepancies in goods received into the warehouse.

* Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of inventory including refrigerated product, large equipment, Lot controlled inventory, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.

* Prepares and coordinates electronic schedules for receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.

* Lead and facilitate the Annual Physical Inventory process.

* Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of inventory and equipment.

* May prepare reports of results and conclusions for management.

**Minimum Requirements:**

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* 3 years of large warehouse experience as a material handler.

* Hands-on work in an inventory role is a plus.

* Frequent walking and lifting of products (should be able to lift 30 pounds)

* Familiarity with full-size computer or laptop and the Microsoft Windows environment.

**Preferred Skills:**

* Good communication skills with the ability to speak with individuals to clearly explain each process effectively

* Passion and commitment to the success of our team and individuals

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* High degree of flexibility needed, to meet challenges of working in a high-intensity environment with constantly changing priorities

* Must be capable of working independently and self-directed with minimal oversight from management

* Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Must be able to operate the Power Industrial Equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certification. (I.e., Order Pick, Stand-up Forklift, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider.)

* SAP experience preferred.

**Additional Knowledge & Skills:**

* Some knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures; Reading, writing, arithmetic skills and familiarity with computers

**Education:**

* HS Diploma or Equivalent

**Physical Requirements:**

* General Office Demands

* Position includes standing, sitting, walking in a warehouse environment

* Must be able to carry and operate a laptop at times
