LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse - Assisted Living

Part Time - Days/Evenings

**Pay rate up to $31/hour - $2,500 Retention Bonus Offered**

McGregor - Supporting Seniors in need and those who serve them.


$4.00 Shift Differential, depending on shift, for a total of $31.00/HR


Retention Bonus Payout:

$500 after 45 days of employment

$500 after 90 days of employment

$750 after 6 months of employment

$750 after 1 year of employment


What do I need as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN with McGregor?

  • Current, active, valid license as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of Ohio with no sustained findings or convictions.
  • Experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term care environment in practice or clinical setting.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records charting programs, basic internet, and email capabilities.

What will I do as a Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN with McGregor?

  • Supervise and evaluate all direct resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
  • Obtain report from nurse being relieved and record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
  • Provide report to nurse coming on duty, including sufficient information for follow-up action as necessary.
  • Conduct resident rounds daily, report problems to the nursing supervisor, and initiate corrective action.
  • Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective action immediately.
  • Identify resident problems and emergency situations and initiate emergency care and "life-saving" measures in the absence of a physician.
  • Follow, supervise and evaluate the implementation of the Resident's Rights Program.
  • Provide supervision to Nursing Assistants providing direct resident care.
